Enroute you visit Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala. Pinnawala has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was established for feeding and providing care and sanctuary to orphaned baby elephants that were found in the wild. Then we bring you to Dambulla Cave Temple which is almost at the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. It is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site.
Today you have a great opportunity to feel the pulse of the rural areas in the island, its people, picturesque village. Then you visit another UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site. Sigiriya is home to a Rock Fortress of King Kasyappa during the 5th Century AD. In the evening you will be shocked as you see hundreds of elephant gathering at the lake side.
Enroute we bring you to spice garden in Mathale and to witness their cooking demonstration. You visit the temple of the sacred Tooth Relic which is most important sacred temple of Buddhists, therefore UNESCO declared Kandy as a WORLD HERITAGE site at 1988. Then you visit Royal Botanical garden which is home to more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Evening at 5 p.m. you watch the cultural dance show. If time permits we will arrange for shopping Gems, Silk, Wooden craft and more.
Today your journey to Nuwara Eliya starts early morning to see breathtaking landscapes and environment. Enroute you can experience and buy world's finest tea in the manufacturing tea factory. You can feel cool climate mixed sunshine together at Gregory park. Speed boat ride in the Gregory Lake is an amazing experience. Apart from that, you visit Horton Plains in Nuwara Eliya.
Hatton train will be departed at 6.00 a.m from Nanu Oya. As one of the most beautiful train routes in Sri Lanka, today you travel from Nanuoya to Hatton by train. Then you will reach Kithulgala. Kelani River owns 7 rapids which cover 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids and are of grades 2 and 3, providing turbulent waters ideal for white water rafting in Kithulgala with the help of knowledgeable trainers fully qualify yourself by riding with extremely high paddle and heartbeat speeds.
Great place for banana boating, water sports like jet skiing, speed boating, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, Kite Surfing, seaplane rides, windsurfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, lagoon fishing. You are free to enjoy with golden sands, the blue shoreline and the warm salty water.
